Louis Tussauds Waxworks Louis Tussauds Waxworks is on five floors and includes over 150 waxwork figures from stage and screen, rock and pop, sporting heroes and historical figures. Blackpool Sea Life Centre Welcome to Blackpool Sea Life Centre, one of the most fascinating, exciting and educational underwater adventures. Explore a magical world with over 50 displays of the finest marine and freshwater creatures including sharks, rays, seahorses and pirahnas. The Doctor Who Museum Closed from 6 th January 2007 for five weeks. Doctor Who has returned to BBC Television and with it will come some great new exhibits for the Doctor Who Museum at Blackpool. Exhibits from the new series are now on display at the Museum along with many favourites from over 40 years of the programme. New items include a Slitheen in all its green glory, an Auton and one of Jabe's Cheem Guards. Together with these are a Adherent plus costumes used by Margret Slitheen, Rose, Jabe, Simmonds and the Steward from Platform One. New exhibits will be added throughout the year from the second series there will also be a gold Dalek joining the exhibits very soon. Blackpool Tower During the day visit the Ballroom to hear one of the famous Organs being played. The Ballroom is the traditional home of the mighty Wurlitzer Organ and complemented by the 3 Deck Wersi - the world's most advanced organ. The Wersi is a state-of-the-art Louvre organ which is played by our resident organists in this magnificent setting. |
