Blue Room

Formerly known as the Stanley Arms, the Blue Room is a classic Blackpool pub that serves real ale and gets a mention in the Good Beer guide. You can also eat here on the cheap, choosing from a selection of simple pub grub including toasties, jackets, baguettes and burgers. The pub hosts live local bands and claims to have the most intellectually challenging quiz in town. The Blue Room is the closest pub to the Syndicate Superclub and offers a great 'last chance to buy a drink at a reasonable price' for intended clubbers.

Blues Bar and Brasserie

Part of Blackpool Pleasure Beach's award-winning Big Blue Hotel, Blues is one of the town’s funkiest hotel restaurants. It's open all day long from breakfast through dinner offering light lunch options and an evening a la carte of classic British and Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant and hotel are very child-friendly and it's also a great location for conferences, with full facilities, a separate business centre and private dining.

Gurkha Buffet Restaurant & Bar

The Gurkha Buffet Restaurant is part of Blackpool’s Alpine Hotel and is owned by a former Gurkha captain. Although the restaurant is Nepalese, it also has Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, Singaporean and English dishes. These are served in buffet style with at any one time 25-35 dishes to choose from out of a total of 150 options. The Gurkha Buffet is open for lunch and dinner every day (except Monday lunch) and you can eat as much as you like from starters, soups, salads and mains for as little as £5.95 at lunchtime and £8.95 in the evenings.
